Easy reading is damn
hard writing.
- Nathaniel Hawthorne
I have wide experience with several types of writing, including Web site copy, print brochures, newsletters, press releases, radio scripts, and e-mail marketing pieces.
Web Writing: One of the mantras of Web writing is that "less is more." Some people seem to feel that means everything needs to be put into a bulleted list. But what I think it means is uncluttered, tightly-written content that grabs the reader's attention immediately! In essence, Web writing requires what ALL writing should aspire to be: easily understood.
Print Advertising: What makes for memorable ads? It's partly good design and partly good writing. Good design does its job by grabbing attention, but, if the advertising copy falls short, you've probably lost the sale. Let me help make yours memorable, too.
Press Releases: This is just one of the areas I've worked in, and I've written press releases for Fortune 500 companies as well as small, local retailers.
Internet Marketing: I have had experience from many angles in this area: from campaign writing and design to fulfillment and follow-up.
