Way to Make 'em Feel Special!

Sports teams have usually considered it an honor to be invited to the White House after winning a championship.

Lately, however, that feeling hasn't been so automatic. In fact, it may be disappearing right this second in Boston.

The Boston Red Sox, winners of the 2018 MLB World Series, were invited to visit this Thursday and the White House released a statement misspelling the team name as "Red Socks." It was also misspelled on the YouTube page set to stream the visit.

Though the error was fixed, a later email reportedly then called the team the "World Cup Series champions."
